J'ai enseigné la théorie de l’art contemporain et moderne à Bruxelles pendant 40 ans ainsi qu’à Maastricht pendant quelques mois. J'ai également enseigné pendant un an la langue française à Pékin. Ai publié deux livres et quelques textes et ai travaillé comme curateur à Bruxelles, Anvers, Luxembourg, Marrakech, avec notamment Giovanni Anselmo, Stanley Brouwn, On Kawara, Olivier Foulon, Eric Van Hove et Sherrie Levine. Ai également travaillé comme directeur de séminaire à Bordeaux avec Mario Merz, Harald Szeeman, Wolfgang Laib, Pascal Convert et Lawrence Weiner et ai fait des conférences à Rome, l’Aquila, Bordeaux, Arles, Paris, Nîmes, Pékin et Bruxelles. Ai aimé la peinture du Titien, de Cézanne, de Barnett Newman mais aussi la photographie d’Edward Weston, de Carlo Mollino, la musique de Bach, Monteverdi, Ligeti, Moondog et encore le flamenco, les chansons de rebétiko et Sade. Ai aimé Robert Walser, Marguerite Duras et Chantal Akerman. Je les aime toujours. Ai exposé avec Céline Willame et, tout récemment, avec Jacqueline Mesmaeker et Jacques Lizène, chez Nadja Vilenne. Pour le moment je lis Lisa Robertson et Mahmoud Darwich.

I taught contemporary and modern art theory in Brussels for 40 years and also in Maastricht for a few months. I also taught French language for a year in Beijing. I have published two books and several texts and have worked as a curator in Brussels, Antwerp, Luxembourg, Marrakech, collaborating with Giovanni Anselmo, Stanley Brouwn, On Kawara, Olivier Foulon, Eric Van Hove, and Sherrie Levine. I have worked as a seminar director in Bordeaux with Mario Merz, Harald Szeeman, Wolfgang Laib, Pascal Convert, and Lawrence Weiner and have given lectures in Rome, L'Aquila, Bordeaux, Arles, Paris, Nîmes, Beijing, and Brussels. I enjoyed the paintings of Titian, Cézanne, Barnett Newman, as well as the photography of Edward Weston, Carlo Mollino, the music of Bach, Monteverdi, Ligeti, Moondog, and also flamenco, rebetiko songs, and Sade. I have loved Robert Walser, Marguerite Duras, and Chantal Akerman. I still love them. I exhibited with Céline Willame and, most recently, with Jacqueline Mesmaeker and Jacques Lizène at Nadja Vilenne. At the moment, I am reading Lisa Robertson and Mahmoud Darwich.
